Megan Thee Stallion Speaks On Nicki Minaj's Retirement & Struggle Twerking

Right before Nicki Minaj surprisingly retired from the rap game, she was getting dragged all over Twitter for her struggle Twerking in the video for Megan Thee Stallion's "Hot Girl Summer". Some believe the criticism was part of why Nicki suddenly stepped away.

Meg performed at JAM'N 94.5's Summer Jam concert Sunday and during her interview before the show, she addressed Nicki's retirement.

"I don't believe her," Meg said on Nicki's retirement. "I think she's just talking right now."

When asked about the shade Nicki got for her "Hot Girl" twerking, Meg claimed she hadn't seen any of it. 

"Friend, I don't be looking at the bad stuff."

Then she defended Nicki. Sort of.

"Well, fortunately, she's an amazing lyricist so her twerking doesn't have nothing to do with her music."
