Megan Thee Stallion caused a stir online after she responded to those who say she twerks too much. And she's bound to cause another fuss after comparing herself to Tupac Shakur.
The 25-year-old rapper recently sat down with Genius to discuss her song "B.I.T.C.H." off her Suga EP, where she samples Pac's "Ratha Be Ya N*gga."
The way Meg sees it, she and Pac have a few things in common.
"I super love Tupac," she said. "'N.*.G.G.A.' is like on my playlist, so, I'm just listening to it and I'm like,'Hell nah. This would sound good if a girl really flipped it.' I really like the way Tupac speaks, like his cadence, his flow. He's just very dominant. He just give big talk energy, and I just feel like I do the same. When he talking, he just really be talking that sh*t that I like. I feel like when my Hotties listening to me, that's how they feel."
Why do you think rappers like comparing themselves to Pac so much, compared to other late legendary rappers like the Notorious B.I.G. or Eazy-E?
