Eminem has signed a rapper named GRIP to his Shady Records label, which they announced on social media Thursday, July 1.

GRIP tweeted a photo of himself and Em in the studio, which the 8 Mile rapper shared. Plus, HipHopDX reports that GRIP, who's from East Atlanta, will drop a new song on Friday, July 2 called "Gutter" that'll officially launch the new deal.
Besides the Atlanta rapper, Shady Records has Conway The Machine, Boogie, and Bad Meets Evil on its roster.
