Eminem has signed a rapper named GRIP to his Shady Records label, which they announced on social media Thursday, July 1.

GRIP tweeted a photo of himself and Em in the studio, which the 8 Mile rapper shared. Plus, HipHopDX reports that GRIP, who's from East Atlanta, will drop a new song on Friday, July 2 called "Gutter" that'll officially launch the new deal.

Besides the Atlanta rapper, Shady Records has Conway The Machine, Boogie, and Bad Meets Evil on its roster.

Congrats to GRIP for making such a major move.
