Report: Meek Mill's Spiteful Judge Just Cost Him a Fortune

by HHL JT

Meek Mill's travel outside of the United States has been restricted by Judge Genece Brinkley, who's long been accused of having it in for Meek.

We learned that last week when Meek was banned from flying to Canada to see his Philadelphia 76ers play the Toronto Raptors in the conference semi-finals.

All that just cost him was a chance to see his boys lose game one. Apparently, the judge has cost Meek a lot more than that.

On today's episode of ESPN's Outside the Lines, 76ers co-owner Michael Rubin explained how the judge prevented Meek from collecting a 450K check for playing in  Abu Dhabi last month.

Meek's team had submitted to Brinkley a travel request before the March 15 deadline she needed it to be able to approve overseas travel on the first of April. However, Brinkley sat on the request until March 19. So even though she granted it, Meek couldn't leave the country until April 3, which was too late to collect his payday.
