Meek Mill is all the rage today, thanks to the long awaited arrival of DC4.
The mixtape marks Meek's first project since he started a fight with Drake last summer.
Mill spoke on that -- specifically Drake's diss record 'Back To Back' -- in a new interview with Taxstone.
“I ain’t think it was no shit that people was gonna be like, ‘You got killed,'” Meek said of 'Back To Back'. “I thought it was hot [but] when we shoot at niggas, you gotta shoot a nigga through the heart. When you wake up in the mirror, you looking in the mirror, you hearing what the nigga told you, some shit about yourself that you can’t even deal with. That’s how we battle where we come from.” "What was that shot that him me?" Meek wondered. "When Nas and Jay Z battled and niggas was hittin’ at each other. They trying to hit you in your head."
The subliminal experts have yet to fully comb DC4, but so far it doesn't seem like Meek addresses Drake in the tape. (He does mention Quentin Miller in the track 'Litty', which features Drake skeptic Tory Lanez.)
What do you think of Meek's take on 'Back To Back'?
