Juelz Santana got out early this week after serving 19 months out of his 27-month conviction for trying to sneak a gun and drugs on an airplane and then fleeing the TSA in a cab.
Meek Mill had something to do with his positive legal outcome.
Sources tell TMZ Meek got Juelz a lawyer -- an expert in navigating the prison system -- through Juelz's wife Kimbella.
Now that he's out, Juelz wants to pay it forward by working with organizations who help the wrongfully convicted and use his industry clout to shop music and movies made by inmates.
