Meek Mill aggressively public persona isn't for everyone. But he seems to be committed to the criminal justice reform he's always tweeting about. Just ask Juelz Santana.
Juelz called into Young Money Radio yesterday from his federal prison cell, and during his chat with Lil Wayne he spoke on Meek's attempts to help him.
"Appreciate all the love, lot of fan mail. I appreciate y'all. My boy Weezy, the whole family. My family for holding it down," Juelz said in the brief call. "Shout out to Meek. Meek reached out and tried to put a couple things in motion for me with this whole coronavirus and the compassionate release date. Shout out to everybody ... I'll be home real, real, real soon. Like, right around the corner."
Juelz is in the midst of a 27-month federal sentence for trying to sneak a gun and drugs on a plane and then fleeing the TSA in a cab when they caught him with the contraband.
He is scheduled to be released in February of 2021. However, there has been chatter about a late summer homecoming for the Dipset rapper. Maybe Meek can help with that.
