Meek Mill Brings Up Political Activist Mumia Abu-Jamal While Defending Tory Lanez

Earlier this month, DJ Akademiks said that he still doesn't believe that Tory Lanez shot Megan Thee Stallion. 

Another person who shares that opinion is Meek Mill, who called for Lanez's freedom while performing their song "Litty" at a recent show. 

Meek received serious backlash afterward, so he defended himself on Threads.

Obviously, all of this has to do with Lanez being convicted in 2022 of shooting Megan in her feet two years prior.

Narrative control starts every Monday lol. Nobody gives a f*ck what these people talking, [we’re] making real-life change out here every day!"

"If I said free [Mumia Abu-Jamal] a. [I’m] gonna be shamed! He’s allegedly guilty for killing a few male [cops]! I grew up to the Black nation screaming that! Why do y’all think y’all can control us? We got millions and real man influence, not internet tricks!”
