Last night, during the Pinkprint's tour stop in Charlotte, Meek Mill unloaded on Drake.
There were some questionable aspects to his attack. He claimed "Wayne don't fuck with" Drake, when that is clearly incorrect. He also threatened to give Drizzy and his OVO crew "wedgies" -- which is just awkward.
Hollywood Life is reporting that Meek only went on the offensive after he was able to get his girlfriend Nicki Minaj's approval.
Sources close to Meek tell us that this is no longer a feud, it’s an all out WAR! Unfortunately, Meek needs one thing to go in on Drake though –Nicki’s approval. “Meek wants to retaliate on Drake’s ass hard tonight and he’s begging Nicki to allow that,” a source tells HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY. "Meek’s got a lot of pride, ego of course and street credit. He’s not about to let this wanna be hood and gangster rapper known as Drake disrespect him any further. Meek wants to obliterate Drake once and for all and send his preppy a** back to Degrassi!" Yikes!This report needs to be viewed skeptically; Over the weekend a "source" said Meek and Nicki had split, when that doesn't seem to be the case.
But Nicki's relationship with Drake is clearly an issue in the Meek-Drizzy beef. And yet another hill for poor Meek to climb.
