Snoop Dogg had his old boss Master P on the season premiere of his GGN show.

During their chat, they discussed Snoop's 1998 move from Death Row to No Limit. [Jump to 8 minutes]

"I had go to the jailhouse to negotiate with [Suge] I say 'look man, Snoop wanna do his thing.' He said, "I already got a deal on the table.' I said 'Man, look, Ima give you 300 more than what they gonna give you," P explained.

Then Snoop thanked P for getting his publishing back and broke down why he preferred to be on No Limit than being on Death Row.

"No Limit was like a university. It's like the apartment you gave me when I got here. It was like a dorm. Soulja Slim live over here, C Murder lived over here," Snoop said. "On Death Row, it wasn't like that, I'll be honest we were family but it wasn't like family. There was a lot of tension. On No Limit, we looked after the little man.  Whoever the little guy was, we wanted him to get big. Nobody's a sub, everybody is a star."

Do you prefer Death Row Snoop or No Limit Snoop?
