Master P joined up with his old friend Snoop Dogg and give an economics lesson for today's rappers. In it, he explains that you need to diversify your portfolio and took a shot some of his former rappers and producers.
"Y'all think you just got to be a rapper? Take 20 minutes to one hour a week, go on the internet and pull up economics. Pull it up. Pull up banking. Figure out what to do with money. They teach you how to make money, not how to keep I got producers, artists that are mad at me for 25 years ago. 25 years? I ain't sell no music, what you mad at me for ?
"I got money cause I got product and it don't talk back ... Some of y'all in the hood can't switch it up," P said, calling out rappers who go into corporate meetings with saggy pants. "Because I took my money that I hustled with, and you mad at me. And you know I can fight. So I'm not the one. Leave me alone ... I'm trying to sell."
Master P seems to be responded to former No Limit artists like Slay Sean who claim Master P built his fortune on their backs and didn't do them right financially.
