Earlier this week, Mase went off on his old boss Puff Daddy in his new track “Oracle 2: The Legend of Mason Betha."
“Yeah, I’m just a Harlem n*gga repping down a Vegas strip with my own Suge/You from Mt. Vernon, n*gga, go & rep your own hood,” Mase raps. “I’m not hating on your Billi worth/Right now, I’m only saying what you really work/You ain’t no architect/You just a n*gga who know how to market death.”
He explained why he did this in a new interview, and also declared that he won't be letting up on Diddy anytime soon.
"I wanna do what I wanna do. I don't want to do what they think I should do," he said of Somebody asked, 'what made you make the record.' I said, no what made him try to rip me off for so long. What's his reason for giving everybody their stuff back but Ma$e. Go ask him that. I'm not going to calm down. They got to know you can't play with everybody. Then one guy asked me a question, I don't know whether I should answer it. He asked me how can I be Christian and make music that's aggressive. Like in the bible there wasn't wars. I think some people are really ignorant. You're not going to get yours because you pray. Sometimes you got to do something else. And [Puff] got pastors protecting him. I'm really gonna lose it. I'm not gonna calm down. I'm gonna do every single interview."
Should Puff be worried?
