Mariah Carey Admits To Affair With Derek Jeter While Being Married To

There's been a lot of talk in recent days about Eminem being worried over The Meaning of Mariah Carey, the singer's autobiography, which comes out on September 29.

Em and Carey once had a fling, according to Em, but the "Glitter" creator never admitted to it.

But she did admit to having an affair with former New York Yankees star Derek Jeter in the '90s while she was still married to music exec Tommy Mottola. The first time she hooked up with Jeter was on the rooftop of his New York City apartment.

“I can never forget that moment,” Carey wrote in the book. “I mean, it’s not like it was some intensely deep, intellectually stimulating — again, it was a great moment, and it happened in a divine way because it helped me get past living there, in Sing Sing, under those rules and regulations."

Carey compared her marriage to Mottola to being in prison based on how he allegedly tried to control her, hence the Sing Sing reference.
