Mannie Fresh is not being shy about his recent battle on IG Live with fellow producer Scott Storch.
The New Orleans music producer battled Storch last week and is now claiming that the rules weren't clear and he was the real winner of the battle.
Right after the battle, Storch was unanimously declared the winner, but Mannie was quick to jump to his own defense, claiming he left out a lot of his catalog because he thought it was "only" a hip-hop battle.
In a recent interview with The Breakfast Club, Mannie pointed out that the judge's Swizz Beatz and Timbaland didn't make it clear that the battle was all genres.
"I mean if it's hip-hop, it's gotta be hip-hop. I was told that it was a hip-hop beat battle. I didn't know it was an R&B beat battle. They gotta do a better job at putting this together"
On top of that, Mannie claims that a lot of the tracks Storch played he was only a co-producer on.
"Some of these songs he didn't do. I stuck to the rules. These are songs that Mannie Fresh produced."
