Machine Gun Kelly's been doing the media rounds to promote his album Tickets To My Downfall, which drops tonight.
During his stop on Howard Stern, he addressed his beef with Eminem and explained why he went after Shady so quickly on "Rap Devil".
"I'm asleep on my tour bus, and this guy drops a fucking album with like three songs consecutively talking about me," Kelly explained. "What the f*ck you think I'm gonna do? Roll over and go back to sleep? Get the f*ck out of here, you're not going to hoe me. I said what I said, and respect the fight—that's it."
Kelly then agreed with Stern that Eminem is too rich to be beefing with him.
I'm just a different type though, man," he continued. "I'm all about putting my arm around people, I'm not with [pushing away] people, so I can't relate. The last thing I ever want to be is an angry legend."
As for the album, Megan Fox's new man says he's switching it up on Tickets to My Downfall.
“I just want to go against what everyone else thinks,” he told Stern. “I make a pop-punk record … and everyone’s like, ‘You switched genres.’ To me, I just added on to the multiple things I’ve already done anyway, but, sure, what a narrow-minded way to look at things.”
