Ariana Grande and Mac Miller's split earlier this year had an interesting aftermath.
Not long after it happened, Grande announced her relationship with comic Pete Davidson, and they are now engaged. Miller, on the other hand, got drunk and wrecked his car.
After he was charged with DUI, Grande labeled their failed relationship "toxic" and "scary" because of Miller's substance abuse issues.
Despite Grande's big mouth, Miller stayed quiet on his ex and Davidson. He finally addressed the situation in an interview with Zane Lowe
"Life is stressful," he said about his breakup. "So, of course there were stressful times. It's not that unique. You know, like, I was in love with somebody. We were together for two years. We worked through good times, bad times, stress and everything else. And then it came to an end and we both moved on. And it's that simple, you know?"
He also spoke on his reaction to Grande's speedy engagement to Davidson.
"Like, I haven't been on the internet," he said. "So, you know, people have assumed that I'm ... 'Are you OK? Is everything OK ..? It's strange. The whole thing is a little strange. It's not negative. Its just a part of something that's going continue to help make me who I am. Like it's all postive energy. I am happy for her in moving forward with her life. Just as I'm sure she is for me."
