Lyor Cohen stopped by The Breakfast Club and responded to Rich The Kid, who recently dissed his label 300 Entertainment.
"Fuck 300 ENT, y'all suck," said Rich a few days ago. "Listen, you gotta let me out of this contract. I don't want to be with ya'll no fucking more. I told ya'll, I'll give ya'll this money back. ... Ya'll's trash. Listen, young independent artists. Do not sign with 300 ENT. They are the worst, worst label ever ... Go tell 300 to suck a dick."
Cohen, 300's co-founder and CEO, said it will be difficult for Rich to get out of the deal they have.
"I don't feel good about hearing that, but it sounds like he's a clown," said Cohen on The Breakfast Club. "Maybe it's a late night something. Here's the thing: I give money early. I sign a contract early. What about a contract, money doesn't mean anything these days? I don't know what his problem is. He should call me. He has my number. You see if he calls me ... He's gonna have a hard time, because we don't play that."
Earlier this week, Rich also sent a cryptic message suggesting he was going to die. It was later revealed that he's changing his name (killing off Rich The Kid) which may have something to do with a new business move he's trying to make at 300's expense.
How do you think all of this will play out?
