Lupe Fiasco Says He's the Most Blackballed Rapper Of All Time

Lupe Fiasco addressed the fact that he didn't receive a Grammy Award this past Sunday.

The "Kick Push" rhymer did so after he congratulated Jay Rock for taking a trophy home for Best Rap Performance in a tie with Anderson .Paak.

Then someone asked Lupe why he didn't receive an award, and the rapper said no one should be surprised.

"That's like getting mad at McDonald's for not having Whoppers," he wrote.

After that another person said the reason why Lupe was snubbed on Sunday and in the past, is because he was critical of Barack Obama when he was in office, which Lupe seemed to agree with.  But the rapper did win a Grammy in 2008 and was nominated for one in 2013.

“I’m the most blackballed rapper in the history of rap," he wrote.

Just days ago Lupe suggested that he was going to retire from the rap game, which was after the Chicago MC said he was giving up all forms of violent entertainment and doing features.
