Ludacris was on the Breakfast Club today, and he told the morning crew that he believes his brief feud with Drake in 2011 stemmed from him unknowingly having sex with Drake's girlfriend.
The revelation began when Luda complained about emcees who "talk so hard behind microphone" but aren't about that in real life. When asked if he was speaking on Drake, Luda said this:
"Me And Drake had our thing, but he came to me and apologized like a man."So Charlamagne brought up the Drake song 'How About Now,' which references Ludacris. In the song's lyrics, Drake's girl hurts him by listening to Luda.
"I think it's a little bit of true story behind that. His girl, at the time, with all due respect, was probably doing a little bit more than that. But, it's a true story, and I think that's why he said that. People can respect this man [Drake] for being very honest on record. It was a chick in Toronto, and at the time I didn't even know that she was I guess, Drake's girl ... I did not know. Absolutely, I did not know."Luda then reiterated that he didn't appreciate Drake going after him in public without dealing with him in private over the matter, but that it's all good now.
The Drake stuff starts at around the five minute mark.
