Little Richard, considered one of the leading pioneers of rock music, has died at age 87.
Some of Richard's biggest hits included "Tutti-Frutti" and "Long Tall Sally," and The Beatles have credited him as being inspirational to the Fab Four.
According to Richard's bass guitarist, Charles Glenn, he had been sick for 2 months, and died at his Tennessee home, surrounded by his brother, sister, and son.
As of now, the cause of death has not been released.
Rest in peace, Little Richard.
