Anderson had told Gobert to block a shot and Gobert yelled back at Anderson to get a rebound
After the game, Anderson continued to yell at Gobert in the locker room and a team employee recorded his rant and leaked it.
"Y’all kiss his ass way too much. Wanna tell me? The f*ck is wrong with y’all. Y'all got some decisions to make this summer," Anderson yelled.
Gobert has issued a statement on his bad behavior
Emotions got the best of me today. I should not have reacted the way i did regardless of what was said. I wanna apologize to the fans, the organisation and particularly to Kyle, who is someone that i truly love and respect as a teammate.

Was acquiring Gobert from the Jazz for Malik Beasley, Patrick Beverley, Jarred Vanderbilt, Leandro Bolmaro, the draft rights to Walker Kessler (No. 22 pick), the Timberwolves’ unprotected 2023, 2025, and 2027 first-round picks, the Wolves' 2029 first-round pick (top-five protected), and the right to swap first-rounders with Minnesota in 2026 the worst trade in NBA history?
