Lil Yachty Says He Hates How Everyone Ganged Up On Drake

Lil Yachty broke his silence on the Kendrick Lamar and Drake battle and said he wishes it was just between them two and no one else.

Boat went on to say that he's noticed how many people have come down on Drizzy since the battle ended and believes it was bound to happen.

"I think Drake has dealt with that sh*t since the beginning of time," he said while speaking to A Safe Place Podcast. "He's always not truly been liked. It's unfortunate. I really wish it was only Drake and Kendrick. It kinda seemed like when Kendrick came out and was like 'I hate this n*gga' everyone was like finally like, 'I hate him too,' which is kinda pussy. It was a really good battle. I think that we'll never get something like that again ... I think it's over. I think it ended with 'Not Like Us.' It's a banger."

Boat also believed Drake was never given a chance.

“Drake was deemed a loser in this battle before it started, because people don’t like him, and haven’t, and he’s won for a very long time. And he’s sat at the top of the throne… honestly, respectfully, I think he still sits on top of the throne. I think that even if opinionated masses would say that Kendrick won, I don’t think that people are going to stop listening to Drake and Drake’s career is going to flush, you know?”

Yachty and Drake are longtime friends, which explains his problem with how things turned out.
