Earlier this year Lil Wayne tried to calm an unruly crowd in Australia by implying that anything tossed on stage would be met with bullets coming back.
Australia has some of the strictest gun laws in the world, so his words stunned the crowd into submission.
He tried the same tactic again this weekend at the Cannabis Cup at Cal Expo in Sacramento when fans threw things at him while he performed "A Milli."
"Ya'll throwing stuff on stage. I don't know if its love or ya'll trying to promote something. But I'm from New Orleans and we don't know how to accept that shit. I got New Orleans people with me and all they know how to throw back is shoot. They'll just shoot. I don't want to end this show in a bad way."
The threat seemed to work again, suggesting Wayne has stumbled upon an effective crowd control strategy.
