Some Australian concertgoers were probably getting nervous at the Jumani Festival in Sydney this past weekend after Lil Wayne subtly threatened to have the crowd shot up.
He did so because he was nearly hit by a water bottle while performing. He told the DJ to stop the music and spoke to the crowd calmly but seriously.
"Okay, so let me let you know," said Wayne. "Where I'm from —I think ya'll know that's the States — We don't throw shit on stage, because all my niggas got pistols, and they don't know who to shoot at. So if you throw something else, I'm gonna be more safe and I'm gonna be the bigger person and just leave, 'cause I don't want to kill everybody."
Australia has some of the strictest gun laws in the world, so it's unclear how the rapper's crew got their pistols into the country.
What do you think about Wayne's statement to the crowd? Was it appropriate or too much?
