Based on the online reactions, it seems that a lot of people thought Lil Wayne should at least be in the top five on Billboard and Vibe's top 50 rappers list.

He was given the number seventh spot, with The Notorious B.I.G. being at number six.

Meanwhile, Jay-Z was named number one and Kendrick Lamar, Nas, Tupac, and Eminem round out the top five.

Weezy was asked about being seventh while talking to Apple Music's Zane Lowe, and he highly disagreed with it.

“Man, who the hell is before me?” said Wayne, who just dropped his new song, "Kant Nobody." “Was the list including all Hip Hop, like before and after as well? I can deal with that … I will tell you that I am a motherf*ckin’ one. Everybody whose names you named, they also know I’m number one. Go ask ’em. They know what it is.”

Wayne did say that Jay-Z was number one in the past, so he's obviously changed his mind since then.
