Did you know that Tha Carter V was supposed to drop tomorrow? You didn't? Well, we didn't either, and that's supposed to be our job.
But it doesn't really matter. Today we get word that Tha Carter will not be released on October 28, which had apparently been the plan for the Lil Wayne project.
The album hadn't been promoted over the past month, doesn't have an official track list or any recent artwork, and hasn't been available for pre-order on iTunes.
Several of the album's singles have been released earlier this year, including 'Krazy' and 'Grindin'" and the album is expected to heavily feature other Young Money artists like Drake and Nicki Minaj.
Tha Carter V will be Lil Wayne's eleventh studio album, and the fifth installation in the non-consecutive Tha Carter series. The 32-year old has said it will be his final solo album.
As of now, it doesn't have an updated release date.
We will, however, get some new music from Lil Wayne tomorrow.
Over the weekend, Minaj announced that her new single, 'Only,' which features Weezy, Drake and Chris Brown, hits on the October 28 date Tha Carter V has now abandoned.
