Last December, the FBI, Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms and Miami-Dade Police searched Lil -Wayne's private plane at Miami-Opa Locka Executive Airport and found cocaine, MDMA, opioids, heroin, and guns.
Last month, the Feds charged the Tunechi with one count of possession of a firearm and ammunition by a convicted felon. Weezy, who notoriously served time in 2009 for gun possession, would face ten years if convicted.
While his lawyer argued for Wayne's innocence when the charges were announced, today Weezy pleaded guilty to illegally possessing a loaded weapon.
His sentence will be up to a judge. However, the government agreed to recommend less time because he's accepting responsibility. What that is, we don't yet know. But we'd expect he does get some jail time.
