Remember last December when the FBI, Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms and Miami-Dade Police searched Lil -Wayne's private plane at Miami-Opa Locka Executive Airport and found cocaine, MDMA, opioids, heroin, and guns, including a gold-plated .45 caliber handgun with a pearl grip?
We haven't heard much about that until now, and the news is not good for Lil Wayne.
The U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of Florida has charged the rapper with one count of possession of a firearm and ammunition by a convicted felon. Weezy, who notoriously served time in 2009 for gun possession, would face ten years if convicted.
Wayne's lawyer Howard Srebnick pushed back on the charge.
"There is no allegation that he ever fired it, brandished it, used it or threatened to use it. There is no allegation that he is a dangerous person," Srebnick said.
Given that the Feds don't play around and almost always convict, this a terrible blow for Tunechi.
Perhaps that's why he was posing with Donald Trump before the elections.
Is there a pardon coming?
