Lil Wayne was supposed to play his first UK show in 14 years during this weekend's Strawberries & Creem festival in Cambridge, England.
That's not going to happen.
Lil Wayne was pulled from the bill after being banned from the country.
According to England's Home Office, "Any individual who has been sentenced to a custodial sentence of 12 months or more must have their application refused.
That appears to be in reference to the 12-month sentence Wayne got in New York state in 2007 for weapons possession.
“Lil Wayne has been refused entry to the UK directly by the Home Office in a last minute decision,” Strawberries & Creem announced. "We are deeply disappointed by this sudden and negative ruling. We have recieved very minimal notice, and the timing of the decision is of course upsetting for all invoved
Ludacris will replace Wayne and the festival.
