For a minute, Lil Skies looked like he was going to be the next big thing.
He had a top-five album in 2019 as a 20-year-old and all the buzz.
Then, the buzz stopped, and the music slowed. Skies left Atlantic in 2023 to go independent, and things haven't picked up much since
Over the weekend, he was arrested for a hit-and-run car accident in Chambersburg, Penn.
Here's what Skies once said about his face tats.
"I got all my face tats as motivation." Skies says. "When you wake up every morning you gotta look at your face. You always look at your face. ... "People are always gonna look at me when I go somewhere. People are always gonna judge me, they're always gonna see me and be like, "what the f*ck. It's just something that I accepted. It was a challenge I was willing to take on," he continues. "It was something that I would say was like a sacrifice for my career."
"Music has to be it, because I can't get no other f*cking job now," he added.
Do you think he's going to make it?
