Lil Nas X Satan's Shoe Lawsuit Has Been Settled

Nike and the design brand MSCHF have settled the sneaker giant's lawsuit over Lil Nas X's Satan shoes.

NIke has denied having anything to do with the shoe, which features what looks like Nike's logo and real human blood.

As part of the settlement, MSCHF has to buy back any Satan Shoes for their original retail prices, in order to remove them from circulation.  Given the buyback is voluntary and the shoes are worth more than their original $1,018  that's probably not going to happen.

MSCHF also has to voluntarily buy back their 2019 Jesus Shoe, which also features a Nike shoe as a base.

"MSCHF altered these shoes without Nike’s authorization. Nike had nothing to do with the Satan Shoes or the Jesus Shoes," reads the settlement. "If any purchasers were confused, or if they otherwise want to return their shoes, they may do so for a full refund. Purchasers who choose not to return their shoes and later encounter a product issue, defect, or health concern should contact MSCHF, not Nike. The parties are pleased to put this dispute behind them."

The financial details of the suit weren't revealed.  LNX hasn't weighed in on the lawsuit yet.
