Quality Control rapper Lil Marlo was shot and killed early this morning.
Police responded to a call about a car accident on Interstate 285 in downtown Atlanta at 2:06 AM. They found Marlo in the car, dead by a bullet wound. They don't know if he was the victim of a driveby or if somebody else who was in the car shot him before the crash and then fled.
So far, there are no suspects.
According to Lil Yachty, he had just recorded four songs with Marlo, who had scored hits with tracks like "1st N 3rd," and "9 + Z6ne = 1'5."
Marlo was also known to be tight with Lil Baby.
The 27-year-old leaves behind a son and a daughter.
RIP.
