Lil Lonnie was murdered last night in his hometown of Jackson, Mississippi.
The car the 22-year old was driving was shot at from behind, with multiple bullets striking Lonnie. The vehicle ended up hitting the front of a house, and Lonnie was pronounced dead at the scene. There was a woman in the passenger seat, who was uninjured.
There are no suspects at this point.
Lonnie was an artist on the rise: His video for "Colors" has over 7 million views on YouTube and he was big on the mixtape scene.
His last IG message suggested he may be in some sort of trouble.
