Lil' Kim's Bodyguard C-Gutta Released From Prison 16 Yrs After Hot 97 Shootout

by Daryl Nelson

Lil' Kim's bodyguard Suif "C-Gutta" Jackson has been released from prison after 16 years.

Jackson was involved in a shootout outside the offices of Hot 97 in 2001. It happened as Kim and her entourage were leaving the building, and Capone from the group Capone-N-Noreaga and his crew were coming in.

C-Gutta fired at least 20 shots during the melee, and Capone associate Efrain Ocasio was shot in the back.

Kim was charged with lying to a grand jury after she claimed she wasn't in the shootout and didn't know anyone involved. Gutta, who was already locked up for opening fire, contradicted her testimony and said she was there.

Kim was sentenced to a year and a day in prison for perjury and conspiracy.

The Hard Core rapper has yet to comment on C-Gutta's release. You can see a video of him being greeted by someone below.
