Earlier this week, it was reported that Lil Kim and Remy Mawere teaming up for a Nicki Minaj diss track called 'Wake Up.'
According to TMZ, the two ladies have already shot a video for the track. Kim confirmed the record on IG yesterday.
She also stopped by Ebro In The Morning, where she discussed her relationship with Nicki:
"Some things just can't be mended unless there's, like, a different type of conversation. Some people take it too far, some people take it to a point where they try to really deliberately see you in the ground or they still hold on to 'I'm right," she said when Rosenberg brought up Nicki. "A snake is a snake at the end of the day. In that [Nicki] situation, it would have probably have to be a business move or conversation ... it's a lot of damage."
She added that if they do diss Nicki on the track, they will say her name.
"The messed up thing is because we are real artists and me and Remy do what we do, no matter what we say, if I be like, ‘Fake ass such and such,’ they gonna be like, ‘Oh, she’s talking about such and such!’ I feel like people know me and Remy well enough that if we’re going to talk about somebody we’re going to say their name, we’re going to address them, we’re going to make it that or whatever. We just making music. We’re doing what we do. And like I said, my mind is always on that bag. My mind ain’t on ol’ girl.”
Kim talks Nicki at around the 26-minute mark of the interview:
