Lil Durk is one of those rapper who's had more success being an independent artist than being signed.
Two years after he announced his departure from Def Jam in 2018, the Chicago rhymer reached a new level of success by being on Drake's song "Laugh Now Cry Later." Durk also has a dope feature on Nas' new album King's Disease.
The Signed to the Streets creator called himself the Jay-Z of Chicago earlier this month while feuding with Tekashi 6ix9ine, and in a new tweet said he's the city's top rapper.
"2012 I was #30 top chicago rappers 2020 I’m #1 🗣 rip juicewrld," wrote Durk.
