Many an amateur internet video detective believes that Lil Cam, who has been described as a bodyguard for the Prince family, fired the shot that killed Takeoff.
While the Houston police haven't named a suspect in the Migos member's murder, which was witnessed by dozens, they did arrest Cam last week for two counts of felon with a weapon.
Cam was in court yesterday. Bond was discussed but they didn't come to an agreement.
Cam's lawyer denied he killed Takeoff.
“Cameron Joshua did not shoot Takeoff,” Christopher Downey said. “He wants to get out. He wants to clear his name. I think the DA’s office knows the difference between carrying a weapon and a shooting case, and if they thought he was involved in the shooting, they would have charged him with it."
Prosecutor Matt Gilliam also insisted that Cam was being properly charged.
