Lil Baby Says He's Making A Comeback After Going Through His 'Darkest' Period

by Daryl Nelson

There was one point of Lil Baby's career when it seemed like he just couldn't lose.

He pretty much had the streets on lock, and his 2020 album My Turn broke a top-ten record on Billboard's R&B/Hip-Hop Albums Chart. Then things started to change.

In 2023 Lil Baby released a snippet that people trashed. After that, several dates of his It's Only Us tour were canceled because of low ticket sales.

But the Atlanta rapper says he's about to make a comeback after coming out of a difficult period.

"Ain’t It Crazy How They Tryna Play Me Like I Ain’t The One," wrote Lil Baby on social media. "It’s That Time ! I Would Say Again But This Run Will Be Totally Different !! Had The Darkest Period Of My Life These Last Two Years But I Stayed Down And Overcame That Sh*t. Now I’m Back To F*ccin Sh*t Up As Usual. Sincerely Wham !! Who Hard As Me. Let’s Gooooooo."

Do you think Lil Baby can reclaim his earlier success? He just dropped this video. How are you feeling it?
