Lexii Alijai's Cause Of Death Announced By Medical Examiner

Lexii Alijai passed away on New Years Day.

Yesterday, the Hennepin County Medical Examiner’s office announced that their autopsy found the Twin Cities rapper, who had opened for Playboi Carti, Lil Uzi Vert and Rich the Kid and was closely associated with Kehalni, died from a lethal mixture of fentanyl and ethanol (alcohol). They ruled her death an accident.

Her label 1AM mourned her passing at the time.

She was a true lyricist and an exceptional storyteller with an authentic sound full of energy and curiosity. She had a deep love and devotion to music but more than anything, was a generous and kind soul with an infectious spirit. The entire 1AM family is heartbroken and deeply saddened by her passing. Our deepest condolences to her friends, fans and everyone who was touched by her. Her family appreciates privacy during this difficult time.”

Lexii Alijai was 21.
