Things have been rough for Gayle King ever since she asked former WNBA player Lisa Leslie about Kobe Bryant's 2003 sexual assault charge earlier this week.
She was ripped apart on social media, with people like Snoop Dogg, Boosie Badazz and 50 Cent leading the charge. And King's best friend Oprah Winfrey said that King is now getting death threats because of the interview.
Of course, all of this comes after Kobe, his daughter Gianna and seven other people were killed in a helicopter crash in California on Jan. 26.
LeBron James, who was friends with Kobe, remained quiet about the interview, until he sent a tweet about it on Thursday.
Protect @LisaLeslie at all cost! You’re a real Superhero🦸🏾♂️!! Sorry you had to through that s*%#!!! We are our own worse enemies! 🤦🏾♂️. #Mamba4Life💜💛

"Protect @LisaLeslie at all cost!" tweeted James. "You’re a real Superhero!! Sorry you had to through that s*%#!!! We are our own worse enemies! #Mamba4Life."
Since King has apologized for the way the interview was presented do you think that people should back off some, or should she receive more backlash?
