LeBron James is committing himself to at least two more years of the mess that is the Lakers.
According to Adrian Wojnarowski, Lebron has signed a two-year $97.1 million contract extension. with Los Angeles that can be worth as much as $111 million if the salary cup rises.
The deal can increase to $111 million if the salary cap in 2023-2024 rises to a substantially higher number.

James enters 2022-2023 in the final year of the original deal with the team.
The second year of the extension is a player option.
