The Luca Doncic Anthony Davis will go down as one of the most shocking in NBA history.
While we know the Mavericks approached the Lakers about the trade, we also know that LeBron James and Klutch were likely consulted before the trigger was pulled.
According to insider Bill Reiter, James would have been quick to approve the deal because he had grown sick of Davis, with whom he had won a title during the COVID year.
