Lazy or Nah? Juelz Santana Explains Why He rarely drops Music

It's been almost 19 years since Juelz Santana dropped a studio album.

Even if you consider the 41-year-old has four mixtapes since 2005, that's not a lot of music.

He did lose a couple of years to legal issues and incarceration.  But it's still not hard to conclude the talented rapper is just lazy.

Juelz pushed back on that during a chat with Papoose.

"I'm a perfectionist.  That's why my music don't come out.  That's why people think I'm lazy ... I'm not lazy. It's just, you know, I always be waiting for these perfect moments." Santana explained.  "Things in my brain that have kind of like hindered me.  As far as me lyrically being on point, I'm always practicing.  I'm always in the gym, at the booth.  I have a studio at my house ... I'm never not doing music.  I'm always trying to be ready."

Does that sound right, or is it something a lazy person would say?

It is a change from last month when Juelz said "demons" prevented him from dropping albums.
