LaVar Ball responded to the news that he's been banned from ESPN.
Ball got himself into trouble when First Take host Molly Qerim asked him to switch gears, meaning to move on to another topic. And he said "You can switch gears with me anytime."
A spokesperson for ESPN said he was banned from the network after that. But Ball said he doesn't care.
"How Im'a be banned and I don't work for them?" he asked. "I gotta be banned from ESPN? I got my own show ... I meant no sexual intent or nothing on the fact that ... Switch gears means change topics to me. Her mind in the gutter if she think it's something else. Only time I'd hit on her, if she's breaking in my house and I mistake her for the Boogieman."
If Ball is looking to take his commentary talents to TNT now that ESPN has given him the boot, he may be out of luck. Charles Barkley, who's a big cheese over at Turner, believes Ball should be banned from all TV.
"Wherever LaVar Ball is, there's a village missing an idiot," Sir Charles said ... "We should just keep LaVar off television. That would be the best way to be."
