Rap hadn't had a number-one album in 2023 (and in 30 weeks) until earlier this month when Lil Uzi Vert's The Pink Tape ended the tyranny of Morgan and Taylor.
It was just a one-week reign, but it still goes in the record books.
Now Latto has done a similar thing on the Hot 100.
"Seven," her collaboration with K-Pop star Jung Kook, is the first rap track to hit number one in 2023.
Like with Uzi, it's probably a one-week deal.
Now we'll see if Travis Scott will get rap's second number-one album of 2023.
