He had the basketball world thinking that he wasn't going to opt in to the final year of his Brooklyn Nets contract and might even do something really crazy like sign with the Lakers for the exemption, giving up $31 million.
Ultimately, he just opted in with Brooklyn.
Barstool Sports were among those who mocked Kyrie for his team weakening antics.
