KXNG Crooked and Joel Ortiz are dropping a joint project called The Rise and Fall Of Slaughterhouse.
Which is about the rise and fall of the supergroup Slaughterhouse.
The two other members of Slaughterhouse, Joe Budden and Royce Da 5'9", aren't happy that this is happening and have made their unhappiness clear.
But Crooked 1 doesn't care. (Jump to 10 minutes.)
"Nobody is going to tell me I have to ask permission to talk about my life," he explained on the Bacon Egg N Cheese Show.
Crook also said he had a great deal to bring Slaughterhouse back together that went out of the way to appease Budden, yet Budden nixed the deal and never explained why.
"I brought a situation to the table, I gave it one last shot ... one more time, here's a great deal fellows, we can put the music out through system that has nothing to do with the Universal system because that's where all the people who were opposing Joe were, they were in the Universal. So here's another system. They can't block you. They can't hate on you. Here's the deal, it's negotiable give me a call. Everybody calls me but Joe. Joe said he don't want to do the deal. So I said Joe call me and tell me what you want ... he never called me. Weeks and weeks and months went by and the deal just disappears," Crook explained.
That setback led Crook to conclude Slaughterhouse is dead for good. Hence The Rise And Fall Of Slaughterhouse.
