Kodak Black's lawyer said that police have it all wrong when it comes to his client's recent arrest.
Yak's car was pulled over in Fort Lauderdale, Florida last week for having too much tint on the windows.
Not only was $50,000 cash found in the vehicle, so was 31 Oxycodone pills, so he was charged with trafficking, as well as possession of a controlled substance, per Rolling Stone.
But the rapper's lawyer Bradford Cohen told TMZ that Kodak's pills were prescribed due to the pain he feels from being shot in L.A. earlier this year.
The lawyer also said Kodak uses the pills to treat pain from allegedly being attacked by prison guards in Kentucky when he was locked up.
Plus, Cohen explained that he gave the prescription to prosecutors, so we'll have to see if that changes anything for Yak.
