Kodak Black Has Been Released From Jail

by HHL Editors

Kodak Black has been locked up since getting arrested in late May.

The Florida spitter got busted for open warrants stemming from his arrest lat October on charges of robbery, battery, false imprisonment of a child, and possession of marijuana.

And that's to say nothing of his April 2016 arrest for marijuana possession, fleeing police at a high speed, disobeying a traffic device, and possession of a firearm by a felon.

You add it all up, and you figure the 19-year-old was going to have to spend a good chunk of time in prison.

But that's not going to be the case. At least for now.

Today, Black plead no contest to both criminal cases, which included charges of robbery, false imprisonment, fleeing a law enforcement officer, and possession of a firearm by a delinquent.

Kodak will be released from prison and sentenced to a year of house arrest in an undisclosed location near his South Florida home, followed by five years of probation.

As a condition of his plea, Black won't be listed as a convicted felon. This will eventually allow him to tour internationally.

Do you think Black will be able to walk the straight and narrow? Or will he blow what seems to be some pretty spectacular lawyering.

Judge reminds #KodakBlack that if makes a mistake again, he's looking at 55 years in prison. "What happens from here on out is up to you."
